This Japanese Ramen Restaurant Wants To Make Going Number Two More Pleasant

first_img Ramen is delicious, but when it’s time to let it all out, it’s a less than glamorous affair. That’s why there are actually bathrooms in Japan dedicated to making your time in the potty a little more comfortable, even if the feelings in your body aren’t as great as the ramen was. There’s one ramen restaurant in Japan in particular, and that’s Ichiran. It’s a wildly popular restaurant that once had an enormous line for around 250 hours, which is absolutely insane. But what’s also insane is the number of toilet paper rolls the restaurant keeps in its bathrooms, which are totally meant for people to go poop in after a huge, greasy meal of ramen and meat.トイレで大爆笑してる— あいだま (@aidama_0324) June 27, 2017There’s a ton of toilet paper to ensure people can wipe thoroughly after doing the deed (after chowing down on ramen), with multiple toilet paper holders to be seen around the bathroom. Ichiran’s employees are supposed to check on the toilet paper supply every hour or so, and is to replace them when the rolls run out with a brand new one. That’s awfully courteous of them, especially since post-ramen bathroom visits can get super gnarly.Imagine that if most restaurant bathrooms had this sort of policy or even bothered to look at the bathrooms more than once a day. That’d make for a lot happier public bathroom visits, that’s for sure.Let us know what you like about Geek by taking our survey.
