Four-star athlete recruit Peyton Powell de-committed from Tom Herman and company just a few days after taking an official visit to Baylor.Not long after, a former top running back recruit reportedly “intends” to transfer from the program. According to Texas insider Anwar Richardson, sophomore running back Toneil Carter plans to leave the Longhorns after the 2018 season.Here’s more from Richardson.Recently learned Texas sophomore running back Toneil Carter intends to transfer. Carter already informed the staff, and his name appeared in the national transfer database on November 28. He ended the 2018 season buried on the depth chart and didn’t receive a carry.He was the No. 10 running back recruit in the 2017 class. Initially, Carter was committed to Georgia, but the return of Sony Michel and Nick Chubb caused him to decommit from the Bulldogs.According to the Texas football roster, Carter is no longer on the team, which appears to confirm Richardson’s report that Carter intends to transfer from the program.last_img
