Considering that weather conditions could favor the team that has more success on the ground, the status of LJ Scott is crucial for Mark Dantonio’s squad.Last weekend, the senior tailback was out of action against Maryland. Although the Spartans were still victorious, defeating the Buckeyes is easily the tougher task.Injuries have hurt Scott’s season, causing him to miss five games. During his time in the field, the versatile running back has 180 rushing yards and 95 receiving yards.While Connor Heyward and La’Darius Jefferson are serviceable options, it appears Scott is trending toward playing today.
