first_imgPakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan played the victim card and threatened India in a hollow speech on the Pulwama terror attack but Shahid Afridi seemed to find plenty of meaning in a tasteless reaction to a massacre that left 40 CRPF personnel martyred.On February 14, a terrorist rammed an explosive-laden SUV into a bus which was part of a larger convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force. 40 jawans were killed in the resulting blast which was caused by the IED.The terror attack last week has left India enraged. Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility for the attack. However, the Pakistani prime minister blamed India of wrongly accusing Pakistan and threatened retaliation in case India decided to launch an attack.”If you think that you will launch any kind of attack on Pakistan, Pakistan will not just think about retaliation, Pakistan will retaliate,” Khan said. “And after that where will it head?”Khan said Pakistan would take action against anyone behind the attack if India provided proof.”If you have any actionable intelligence that Pakistanis are involved, give that to us, I guarantee you that we will take action,” Khan said.Like Imran Khan, Afridi is a former Pakistan captain and he had this to say after the Pakistan PM’s speech.Absolutely crystal&Clear https://t.co/AUc79pHvfOShahid Afridi (@SAfridiOfficial) February 19, 2019On Monday, Harbhajan Singh had India should not play their World Cup match against Pakistan in the wake of the Pulwama attack.”There is no need for any relations with Pakistan, leave alone cricket,” Harbhajan told Aaj Tak, adding: “Don’t play the World Cup match with Pakistan on June 16 – country comes first for all of us and we are all standing with our Jawans. Pakistan have been promoting cross-border terrorism and this attack was unbelievably shocking.
