LG V40 ThinQ goes on sale in India for Rs 49,990

first_imgLG unveiled the LG V40 ThinQ for global markets in October last year. And now, nearly four months after its global launch, its V-series flagship smartphone is making its way to India. LG has launched V40 ThinQ in India and the phone is up for grabs exclusively via Amazon India for Rs 49,990.As a part of the launch offer, Amazon’s e-retail platform is offering interesting deals and discounts to interested buyers. The Seattle-based e-retailer is offering offers worth Rs 25,000 on the purchase of the LG V40 ThinQ. This includes a no-cost EMI for up to 12 months, free screen replacement worth Rs 16,750 and up to Rs 5,000 off on exchanging your old smartphone with a new V40 ThinQ. Additionally, the e-commerce platform is offering 10 per cent instant discount on purchasing the phone using HDFC credit and debit cards.To recall, the LG V40 ThinQ features a 6.4-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440. It comes with an OLED screen and a glass back with a metal chassis. It is protected by IP68 dust and water resistant technology, which makes it immune to occasional splashes of water, and it comes with MIL-STD-810G certification.The LG V40 ThinQ has 2.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 in its core and it sports 6GB RAM with an internal memory of 128GB. It comes with a set of five cameras- a dual camera setup with an 8MP standard lens and a 5MP wide angle lens in the front and a triple camera setup with a 16MP super wide-angle lens, a 12MP primary lens and a 12MP telephoto lens at the back.advertisementOne of the interesting features about the LG V40 ThinQ is that it comes with various camera modes that make it easy for the users to capture the shot right for them. While the Triple shot mode enables users to capture images using the phone’s three rear cameras simultaneously, the Triple Preview modes allows them to preview the images via the three lenses at the same time. Apart from this, the phone also sports a Cine Shot mode that enables to capture creative images by enabling them to animate a part of still shot.Apart from a powerful camera, the LG V40 ThinQ features the DTS:X surround sound technology along with its Boombox speakers, that enables the phone to deliver LG’s signature sound.
