The Taiwanese handset maker Asus has added a new member to its ZenFone Max family of smartphones. The new smartphone is dubbed as the ZenFone 4 Max and is one amongst the five phones that the company is set to launch this month. The smartphone has been launched in Russia with no word on its India availability yet.The ZenFone 4 Max succeeds the company’s year 2016 launched ZenFone 3 Max and boasts of a massive battery size of 5000mAh battery with fast charging and PowerMaster technology which allows the phone to charge other devices too.The ZenFone 4 Max has been unveiled in two different variants based on the chipset- Snapdragon 430 or 425 SoC. The price of the ZenFone 4 max with Snapdragon 425 SoC starts at RUB 13,900 which is approximately Rs 15,000.The dual SIM ZenFone 4 Max features a 5.5- inch full HD IPS display with 1080×1920 pixels of screen resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 2.5D glass protection on top. There is a physical home button at tye fornt which also doubles up as the fingerprint scanner. The smartphone sports two 13MP cameras with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash on the rear. The phone runs company’s ZenUI based on Android Nougat. On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes a headphone jack and Micro-USB charging port amongst others.
