The company presents exclusively curated, handmade original art work from Odisha, Chattisgarh, West Bengal and other states. “We sell Art Boxes which feature over 15 exquisite genres of folk and tribal art from various regions of the country. It can act as a unique souvenir art box and comes in a set of seven, five, three and two paintings. Each artwork is carefully mounted on board and enveloped in handmade paper,” says Prashant Singh, CEO, India Art Investment Co. Trying to make a statement that a Banarasi is timeless and is for the keeps, Roli Mehra works with the craftsmen from Varanasi to ensure that the style remains alive. Her fashion line Roliana showcases modern Banarasi sarees stoles, jackets etc which made both the young and the old flock to her stall at the exhibition. “I started this endeavor to turn this traditional style into a modern product so that the craftsmen can survive and also try to get back the next young generation into the profession,” says Mehra.
