first_imgDonegal GAA stars Karl Lacey and Eamon McGee have thrown their support behind the YES Equality campaign by fronting the ‘Pledge to Vote’ campaign which launches later this week.The ‘Yes Equality’ national ‘Pledge to Vote’ campaign, is taking place on Monday 23 February 2015 in Letterkenny, DonegalKarl Lacey and Eamon McGee will present along with LYIT Student Union and LGBT representatives at 11am on Monday at the LYIT playing pitch. It will formally launch the Yes Equality national ‘Pledge to Vote’ campaign.The campaign will also aim to encourage young voters across Ireland to come to the polls this May – pledging to make their voices heard in the referendum on civil marriage equality.The campaign will operate nationwide through a network of young Yes Equality volunteers, and on social media.Karl Lacey and Eamon McGee will cast a mock vote to kick the campaign off.
